LEARN TO LEAD SPORT CLIMBING, in Silverton

Learn to lead climb with a supportive group of local women. Presented by San Juan Expeditions, this full-day guided clinic will introduce you to leading 5.7-5.9 sport routes. Your IFMGA/AMGA Professional Mountain Guide will be Mia Tucholke. We will meet at the San Juan Expeditions Office at 9am in Silverton, CO carpooling over to Stripe Wall, Silverton's local crag about 1 mile from town.

The human body is an incredible electromagnetic organism. Learn ways to attune to your system to regulate and adjust your energy as needed. In doing so, you bring awareness to the inherent wisdom that can guide you, align you with your truth, and help you to live your purpose more fully in this human life. 

This collaborative workshop will be led by Stephanie Pace, a wellness practitioner with more than 20 years of experience, as both a body-centered therapist and a mental health practitioner.

INTRO TO PACKRAFTING W/ LIZZY SCULLY OF FOUR CORNERS GUIDES
@ Oxbow Park, 500 Animas View Dr. in Durango

Get your feet wet (literally) with an introduction to packrafting. In this orientation course, you’ll learn everything you need to prepare for your first packrafting trip. We’ll meet at Oxbow Park for a quick demonstration and gear introduction, then put in on the Animas River for a float through town. Max 8 participants.

11:00am - MOUNTAIN RUNNING: SKILLS + SURVIVAL W/ ARCELIA VALLE & MAGGIE GUTERL @ Backcountry Experience, 1205 Camino Del Rio

Mountain running is about more than athleticism and endurance… especially with the San Juan Mountains as our training ground. Boost your technical mountain skillset and backcountry safety knowledge in this in-depth workshop with mountain athlete Maggie Guterl of Tailwind Nutrition and Arcelia Valle from La Plata County Search and Rescue.

1:00pm ADVENTURE DOG FIRST AID W/ RIVERVIEW ANIMAL HOSPITAL @ Backcountry Experience, 1205 Camino Del Rio

They’re our BFFs, co-pilots, and go-to adventure buddies. But they’re not invincible. Do you know how to prevent doggo injuries and sicknesses? Or what to do when (dog forbid) something goes wrong? Learn the basics of Adventure Dog First Aid with Riverview Animal Hospital.

$10 entry-fee, includes a doggie first-aid kit. Max 20 participants. RSVP Required.

3:00pm - GROUP GRAVEL RIDE W/ NICHOLE BAKER Location TBD

We know there are plenty of gravel riders in Durango, but do you know each other? Meet new riding partners and explore Durango’s dirt roads in this casual, no-drop ride with Nichole Baker.
